Habenaria repens

Water Spider Orchid

Habenaria repens is more commonly known as the Water Spider Orchid and grows naturally on marshy shores or floating vegetative mats. Water spider orchids grow in sun to part shade and throw up a stalk of pale green flowers with narrow petals making the flowers look like little green spiders. Habenaria repens has a spicy vanilla fragrance during certain times of the day.
