Drosera capensis
Cape Sundew
The Cape Sundew is a native to South Africa. It is a showy sundew producing many 3-5” long leaves sparkling with bug attracting globes of sticky dew. Drosera capensis is a prolific bloomer producing many ¼- ½” pink flowers thru the spring and summer months. It will freely seed around and fill in any gaps between other plants in the bog garden. Cape sundew is hardy in zone 6 with protection. It thrives in full sun to part shade.
