Pointed Broom Sedge
Blunt Broom Sedge is an attractive clumping sedge with fine textured foliage. Carex scoparia grows 1-2’ tall and provides great food and cover for song birds in wet meadow habitats. Blunt Broom Sedge blooms from late June until the end of July in open wet meadows or along wooded wetland edges in partial sun.
