Orontium aquaticum
Golden Club
Commonly known as "Golden Club", this striking aquatic plant has bright yellow flower clusters (spadix) at the tips. Blooming in April, it is one of the first plants to welcome Spring. The tropical-looking plant is actually quite cold hardy and makes a lovely addition to constantly saturated or shallow water areas in ponds. Golden Club provides useful shelter for tiny fish, frogs and other wildlife.
