Andropogon glomeratus
Bushy Beard
The only moisture loving Andropogon, Bushy Beard is usually found growing in low lying marshes and swamps of the eastern coastal plain of the United States. A narrow blue/green leaf in the summer followed by a glowing coppery color for Fall & Winter. The silvery feather like seed panicles catch dusk/dawn sunlight spectacularly above 3' upright clumps.
