Colocasia esculenta 'Black Magic', Black magic taro.  Whether you are designing a smaller container garden or a larger patio pond, the large bold leaves of the Black magic taro plant make it suitable as either a dramatic accent plant or it can be used as a soft backdrop for smaller plants. The Black magic taro has almost black/purplish colored leaves and petioles which can grow 2-4' tall depending on conditions.
