Cyperus haspan

Cyperus haspan, Dwarf papyrus, is commonly known as a member of the sedge family.  The Cyperus species of water plants are grown for their showy firework - like sprays of fronds with almost palm like aesthetics. Cyperus haspan commonly known as Dwarf papyrus is delicately textured with tight tufts atop upright stems but only a fraction of the size at 1-2' tall. Hardy in zones 9-11.
