Nelumbo sp. 'Baby Doll'

Nelumbo 'Baby Doll', is a great dwarf cultivar for patio plantings in a tub or barrel.   Dwarf cultivars lend a tropical feel to a small space.  First blooms look like little white tulips!  'Baby Doll' can produce many cup shaped pure white blooms 4-6 ". A single plant may produce up to 12 blooms at a time - fewer blooms per season in container.   Seed capsules 1-2" diameter are delicate in a dried arrangement.   Leaves are 9-11" in diameter.  Plant height is 2-3'.  Blooms mid-summer into fall.
