Eleocharis quadrangulata, Four squarerush, is a PA endangered plant.  Four squarerush has a distinct four sided stem which is dark green in color. With an elegant simplicity, this 2-3' tall rush grows in full sun to part shade areas with permanent inundation including marshy shorelines and pond edges.
