Carex muskingumensis, musk sedge, is found in moist meadows and along streams. Decorative musk sedge resembles miniature palm trees. It spreads slowly via a short rhizome to form a fine textured colony in part shade to full sun. Will grow up to 2 -3’ tall and is surprisingly drought tolerant.
