More About Golden Club 'Big Red'

  • Rare in PA(USDA)

Big Red™ is a selection of the native wildflower, commonly known as "Golden Club". This striking aquatic plant was selected for its red flower stems which contrast the bright yellow flower clusters (spadix) at the tips. The tropical-looking plant is actually quite cold hardy and makes a lovely addition to constantly saturated or shallow water areas in ponds. Golden Club's spadix rises 1-2' above the water and leaves and rhizomatous roots provide useful shelter for tiny fish, frogs and other wildlife. Rare in PA (USDA).
