More About Spider lily
- Standout specimen planting
Hymenocallis caribaea, commonly known as the Spider lily, has lush green upright foliage when not in bloom, but really comes alive with showy white flowers, through the growing season, which resemble a mix of a bog lily and a daffodil. Spider lilies are fragrant at night! Spider lilies have a clumping style growth habit reaching 1-2' tall. An excellent container or rain garden specimen. May be planted in up to 3" of water. Hardy in zones 7-11 depending on winter protection.
